Electrifying

When classics Kup came out, I didn't think he'd be much use as a base for anyone else-then I got him in hand. I tell you, this mold is deceptively useful and very passable as a number of characters. Gobots Smallfoot, Orion Pax, but particularly, the G2 Laser Rod Electro. I know I know, his alt mode isn't quite the hot rod vehicle the original Electro was, but it's truck like, has the same general body shape, and you paint this baby in gold and detail it and it's pretty solid. Add a new head and an engine to the hood and I think Kup = a pretty dang good Electro. I'll be looking into updating some of the other Laser Rods soon, why not?

Vehicon tank

So there's this TF: Prime game that's slated to come out, and I completely forgot about the images we were shown at Botcon that showcased a tank and helicopter Vehicon. I'm still trying to figure out why Hasbro hasn't recolored the entire line like Vehicons and stuck a Vehicon head on them, people love troop builders! But I digress, just wanted to amuse myself and see how nice the Vehicon colorscheme is when plopped on any mold! A Tank Vehicon, why not?!

GDO Ransack Redux

After messing around with the color matching for my last digibash, started thinking about how funny it is that GDO Powerdive stole Ransack's colors. Turnabout is only fair play, so I tweaked my digibash of GDO Ransack and gave him Powerdive's colors.

 Together again... sure why not?

A friend for GDO Powerdive-Ransack!

I haven't gotten my hands on GDO Powerdive yet (though I have one waiting for me in Boston) and I'm already hoping GDO provides us with another wave of offerings in 2013, particularly Powerdive's partner Ransack. I know the current release of Powerdive *should* be called Ransack (if we're keeping in with homage correctness) but just to keep the pair together, I'd love to see the original Powerdive colorscheme mapped onto the Energon Bulkhead mold. That guy is another one that has 101 repaint possibilities that for some reason have just never been taken advantage of.

The dynamic duo together again, swap the names and be happy.

Classics Aquasting

Keeping the Fuzors updates rolling, next on the list was Aquasting/Injector. One of the bigger of the Fuzors, I thought the Seaspray mold with the proper colors would look really neat done up in the Aquasting colorscheme.
Bot mode! What I'm enjoying most about this is that it's a simple repaint, no remolding needed to make this mold scream Aquasting.

More to come, I have every intention of tackling every one of these beauties!

Agent Fowler, transform!

After watching the last few episodes of Transformers Prime, I started thinking that as neat as it is that Agent Fowler is one of the more productive humans, I'd love to see them do something more.
I'll come right out with it; I want to see Fowler as a Transformer.
There's a number of ways this could be done storywise, and give us a repaint of Cybertron Evac in the process (love that mold!). Quick examples:
1. Fowler finds himself in a situation similar to Silas, body traumatized in a battle with the cons or something and he's retrofitted into a machine built by the Autobots after discovering a hidden MECH lab.
2.Instead of crippling Agent Fowler forever and trapping him in a machine, let's say the Autobots devise a way to allow Fowler a mental interface with a machine they either built or originally served as a military drone. For the sake of a quick twenty minute episode, let's say the drone gets damaged in a scuffle with the cons and Fowler's consciousness winds up trapped in the machine. "Can the Autobots reverse the effects before they become permanent?"

Anyway, I watched the episode Darkest Hour and felt that Fowler was more productive in that chopper than he was the Dreadwing/Skyquake jet, so a repaint of Cybertron Evac would probably look really neat! It'd have to be blueish gray to match Fowler's suit of course!

I also did one in more of a greenish tint to match the chopper in the episode.
